Biomechanics


Biomechanics addresses the skeletal and soft tissue structures of the body, in particular the lower body, and how they effect posture and work  together in movement. 

Over time the soft tissues of the foot can  become stretched, resulting in loss of support and abnormal foot function. This then affects the overall posture of the whole body, and may cause -

 

  • Shin splints

  • Foot,  knee or hip pain

  • Achilles tendonitis or pain

  • Plantarfascitis

  • Heel Spurs

  • Bursitis of the hip
